The Ettersberg Foundation also conducts academic research into the Socialist dictatorship in East Germany, using its results to further the teaching of political history in schools and other contexts. The Foundation’s educational work takes the form of publications, exhibitions, courses for teachers and activities for schools, including an annual competition.
